Established Circa 1800's
The Millgrove Cemetery is in the community of Millgrove, City of Hamilton, in the former Town of Flamborough. Also known as part of Lot 19, Concession 5, West Flamborough Township, the Cemetery can be entered via Millgrove Side Road.
There have been many accounts of the Cemetery’s history and we’ll be posting a document soon!
In the 2020’s, the Millgrove Cemetery Board is taking steps to modernize the operations of the Cemetery and increase local and regional awareness of this very special place.

Mission
To provide cemeterial bereavement services to the community of Millgrove, to Ontario and interested persons beyond these boundaries.
Cemetery services include Decoration Day services, burials, cremation burials, the scattering of ashes, ancestral family tracing, and cemetery monument restoration projects.
Operating Intent
The Millgrove Cemetery is operated without purpose of gain to its members and is operated for the benefit of the Millgrove Community and beyond. Any profits or other assets of the organization will be used solely to promote its mission.
40% of the sale of cemetery plots are deposited in a registered care and maintenance fund and managed by our Financial Trustee for the long-term care of the cemetery.
The rest of the proceeds are exclusively used for the operating and promotional expenses of the cemetery which includes the upkeep of the cemetery to park like standards for the benefit of the community.
